Why Build Your Own List In Network Marketing

John Marshal has started a program of giving tips on network and internet marketing. This tip is “why build you list?” in network and internet marketing.
As per John Marshal, people who join network and internet marketing do not build their own list of people they want to approach. They rely on list given by the companies. This is not good. John says that if the company, for which you are working for long, shuts down or kicks you out, you must have your own list of people to whom you can market other products of the company you join. There is no way you can work for a company which does not allow you to build your own list.

This is the morning, so this is tip number 3. Tip no. 3 is going to be covering “why build you list?” why should network marketers, internet marketers be building their own list? This is a big question out there. Lot of people don’t know why they should be building their list. So I may go over just a few points here why you should be building your own list. So hopefully you can kind of understand why its so important to really focus on building your list.
So, first thing is can be positioning. Right? Positioning in brand. When you start building your own list, you are positioning in a brand in yourself as a leader. Now, as your list grows, you start positioning yourself as a bigger and bigger leader. Now the more people that follow you, the more power you have because the more people that follow you and listen the more power you will have because more people are gonna want work with you more people are going to think that you are an expert so it just starts to really snowball as your list gets bigger and bigger. A.. its just like that with anything in life you know if you… like Operah … as her viewership grew and grew the more power that she end up getting. So its going to be the same with your list. It might not, you know, you list to you might not be worth really too much when you have only 12, 20, 30 followers but when that thing starts ground 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 20, 30000 people, that’s how it becomes very powerful list and it really does position you as a leader and an expert.
So, a… step no. 2 is going to be marketing and income streams. When you have a list, you can market anything you want to that list. You can market a… affiliate products, you can market businesses, you can market anything that you believe that your list would want. I mean you just can over market to whom there is a balance there but you get what I am saying. With that list you can end up marketing multiple things which in turn become multiple income streams because everybody on your list is not going to be in your business and lets say the 20,000 people that get on your list in next few years lets say only 3 or 400 often join your business.
That’s you know 19,500 people out there they said no then you can market something else to them. Then you can monetize those people and get more income. That is very it is very important have your own list is for.. is monetizing. So, they are —-. This happens to a lot of network marketers a… you know they are been in network marketing for a few years. Something happens to their company. Goes out of business, a… they just get tired of the company, may be it gets changed in the leadership, they don’t like where they are going, they want to leave. It’s very hard for network marketers to leave a company that have spent so much time building up. Well, if you are building your own list, if you want to leave a company, you get kicked out of a company, for whatever reason, you are going to start a new business.
All you have to do is send an email up to that list and who knows if you marketed and build a good relationship with that list, you might have, you know 15, 100, 200 depending on size of your list, new reps in your company right from day one. Excuse me. That’s why its so important to be building your own list. If you are in a network marketing company right now and you are building your.. you are building a list but for a network marketing company and they don’t allow you to build your own list, you might want to look into a different company, you might want to try finding a new, another way to build your list and you are putting those names into a database, where you can market to whom and you can monetize.
